The Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC), which was chosen and charged by the congregation with finding a new pastor for SPC, has reached the final stages of the selection process and will bring their candidate forward to the congregation for their consideration and approval on September 15. They will present the background and qualifications of the candidate and the terms of the pastoral call. Following a presentation and discussion, a vote by the congregation will be taken to affirm the PNC’s recommendation. For privacy and process reasons, the identity of the candidate will remain confidential until the meeting.
It is important for SPC members to attend this meeting. The PNC has put an enormous amount of prayerful work into this lengthy process and are excited to present information about the candidate to you. We know you will want to be part of this important decision in the life of SPC.
