PC (USA) Office of Public Witness Announces Compassion, Peace & Justice Training Day (CPJ)
On April 24, 2020, learn how Presbyterians and others are working for the restoration of God’s creation and people. With workshops and networking opportunities, this CPJ Training Day offers the chance to explore the various ways to address climate change, ecological destruction and environmental racism. Advancing climate justice to protect people who have historically been made vulnerable by economic and environmental injustice will be a special focus. The Shepherdstown Fire Department will be having a "Super Bowl Sunday Buffet Dinner" hn Sunday, February 2nd. The menu will include Fried Chicken & Ham with all the trimmings with homemade rolls and desserts, ice tea and coffee. Cost will be $9.00 for adults, $5.00 for children ( age 6 thru 15) and children under the age of six eat free. The buffet dinner will be served from 12 Noon until 3:00 pm in Barron Hall at the fire department. The Shepherdstown Fire Department is located at 8052 Martinsburg Pike (Route 45 West) Plan now to attend and support your local volunteers so that they may provide fire protection and emergency ambulance services to Shepherdstown and the surrounding communities.
